The N4H Foundation Approach:

Net For Hope is a holistic approach to poverty eradication whose focus is on solving severe poverty with close input from the community. In the community we have discovered that the youth are the major change agents to which N4H projects are implemented and acculturated in to existing communities.

Their involvement is critical towards successful sustainability within the community which needs to be just as invested to see change as N4H is.

Youth Initiatives:
Many youth would like to contribute towards the betterment of their community, but do not get the opportunity. N4H has provided an opportunity for involvement by creating favorable conditions for the youth to participate in the development of any of our community projects.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH INITIATIVES
Youth Clubs:
One way students can contribute to community involvement is the establishment of "hope clubs" located in every institution of higher learning (University, tertiary, colleges and other academic settings). The Hope Clubs are voluntary memberships which participate in selected projects of N4H they have an interest in. Each Hope Club will be required to submit a proposal of area of need within a community they feel meets N4H requirements of severe poverty. Those proposals that have the best supported documentation and compelling argument will be selected as one of N4H Projects. The accepted proposal of a Club will receive support from all the other Hope Clubs and the N4H Foundation. The Administration of each project will be directly under N4H management according to our regulations and organizational goals.

Inter-national Student Clubs:
Inter-national students are welcome to apply for participation in Hope Clubs and N4H projects. Participants with some basic knowledge relevant to African culture and needs are required. They too can submit proposals for N4H projects and become involved in its development.

Inter-national and Local Student Internships and Apprenticeships:
Specialized training will be provided by N4H to qualifying applicants for internships and apprentice positions for students in relevant areas of interest.
Internships are for 3-6 months training position in community development, marketing and social services. Apprenticeships are a post internship position that can be between 3 months to one year. This position involves a greater independence and responsibility in community development, locally and internationally with N4H Foundation.
Accommodation for room and board at the project site shall be provided.
